My inspiration for writing The Beijing Ghosts came from real ghostly encounters

I was inspired to write The Beijing Ghosts from being a realtor and encountering strange and unexplainable incidents in working with older homes and commercial dwellings. Nothing shocking, but enough to make me pause. The haunted estate I depicted in the book is of a Greek revival design like the one below with ten bedrooms + ten bathrooms over a spacious yard.
