In The Beijing Ghosts, Kara Chan gets a new real estate listing on a ten bedroom estate far up in the hills behind Bel Air next to Hollywood Hills. Owners died over twenty years ago and no one has set foot on the mansion since then. With only a flashlight in her hand, she drives to the estate by herself during sunset to find the dilapidated mansion engulfed in towering weeds like a jungle.
